About these terms

These terms govern your use of Unique Istanbul Experiences and the purchase of tours, guidebooks and map pin packs through our website at https://uniqueistanbulexperiences.com. By making a booking or purchase, you agree to these terms.

Tour bookings

All tour bookings are processed through Bókun, our booking platform. By completing a booking you also agree to Bókun's terms of service. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email.

Cancellation and refunds — tours

• —Cancellation 7+ days before the tour: full refund.
• —Cancellation 3–6 days before the tour: 50% refund.
• —Cancellation less than 72 hours before the tour: no refund.
• —Cancellation by us due to weather, minimum numbers not reached, or unforeseen circumstances: full refund or alternative date offered.

Digital products — guidebooks and map pins

Guidebooks and map pin packs are digital products delivered immediately after payment. By purchasing a digital product you acknowledge that:

• —Download links are valid for 7 days from purchase.
• —Digital products are for personal use only. Redistribution is not permitted.
• —Refunds are not available once the download link has been accessed, except where the product is materially defective.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and most major debit cards. All prices are displayed in the currency stated on the product page. Currency conversion charges from your bank are outside our control.

Liability

We take the safety of our guests seriously. All guides hold Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism certification and all tours are covered by appropriate liability insurance. In the event of an incident, our liability is limited to the value of the booking.

We are not responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, transport strikes or political events.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, photographs, illustrations, guidebook content and map pin data — is owned by Unique Istanbul Experiences or licensed from third parties. Reproduction without written permission is not permitted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul.
